The Vegan Fondue

Ingredients for 4

100 g cashew paste
2 tbsp misopaste or vegetable paste
4 tbsp coconut oil (or a different oil)
200 ml dry white wine or apple juice (not orange juice!)
50 ml apple vinegar
100 ml water
3 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (1 tbsp = 10 g)
1 tbsp corn starch
1 pinch turmeric
1 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Purée everything and bring to a boil.
  2. Eat with bread, potatos or pears. Enjoy a yummy vegan fondue!

Can also be used as a mozzarella suptitute, for two persons, use 1 serving (with 50g cashew paste). Add about 10 minutes before the end of the pizza baking.
